Thomas D. Weber
Tom was raised in Rutherford, New Jersey. He holds a BA from Gettysburg College and an MEd from Springfield College. Tom began his financial services career in 1995 as a planner with WS Griffith Advisors and, in 2002, achieved the coveted CFP® certification. Tom returned to his hometown in 2003 and formed APT Asset Management, LLC, in 2004 in order to provide a truly independent and comprehensive approach to financial planning free from the influences present in many traditional Wall Street firms and old-line insurance companies. As an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Tom is able to offer a full suite of investment and financial planning services in an independent, client-centric business model.
Tom, his wife, Mary, and their four children reside in Rutherford. They are parishioners of the Church of Saint Mary. Tom is a former trustee of The Timothy J. Finnerty Memorial Fund. A former collegiate athlete, Tom enjoys the local high school, college, and professional sports scene. In his spare time, you can usually find him on the local courts or fields coaching one of his children's teams. Tom also enjoys reading, golf, politics, and spending quiet time with his family.
