Thomas D. Weber CFP®

Tom was raised in Rutherford, New Jersey. He holds a BA from Gettysburg College and an MEd from Springfield College.

Tom began his financial services career in 1995 as a planner with WS Griffith Advisors and, in 2003, achieved the coveted CFP® certification. Tom returned to his hometown in 2004 and formed APT Asset Management, LLC in 2004 in order to provide a truly independent and comprehensive approach to financial planning free from the influences present in many traditional Wall Street firms and old-line insurance companies. As an Investment Adviser, Tom is able to offer a full suite of investment and financial planning services in an independent, client-centric business model. 

Tom, his wife Mary, and their four children reside in Rutherford. They attend and are actively engaged with Emergence Church in Totowa. NJ. Tom is a former trustee of The Timothy J. Finnerty Memorial Fund and former Manager and Board Member for The Rutherford Little League. A former collegiate athlete, Tom enjoys the local high school, college, and professional sports scene. Though not very good, Tom is an avid golfer and also enjoys reading, politics and spending quiet time with his family.
